Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am an HCPC registered clinical psychologist. This means I have extensive training and experience across the NHS, third- and private sector, supporting individuals, couples and families with various difficulties and goals using a compassionate, individual focused approach.

Through individual psychological therapy, I support adults coping with a range of emotional difficulties. This includes anxiety, worry, low mood, feeling stressed or overwhelmed, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and overcoming difficult or traumatic experiences.

I am passionate about supporting individuals to better understand themselves and their emotions to help equip them with knowledge and skills to cope with the challenges life presents them with.

Psychological Therapy

I understand that therapy can often be a daunting prospect. I aim to create a non-judgmental, compassionate and collaborative therapy space to help you feel comfortable to get the most out of our time together.

I will work flexibly alongside you to adapt our therapy to your needs, preferences and current circumstances. This includes the format of how we meet and the therapy approaches I will draw on to support you.

I can offer short and long term therapy, in person or online. I will draw on a range of different evidence based therapies, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

  • Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT)

  • Systemic and Narrative Therapy
